Restore Puerto Rico
On September 20, 2017, Hurricane Maria made land fall on the island of Puerto Rico. As the powerful tropical cyclone made its way through the Caribbean islands, preparations were made in advance to save the lives of over 3.4 million Americans. The violent 156 mph winds, overwhelming storm surge and torrential 30+ inches of rain would not be deterred as Maria’s fury caused widespread and catastrophic destruction. One year later, communities are rebuilding, and adjusting to life after Maria.
While not a disaster relief organization, Like Incense Foundation has embrace this opportunity to support ongoing efforts to restore Puerto Rico. We continue to provide food and supplies needed as our contribution to help sustain the gracious people of Puerto Rico. Our participation in the rebuilding process will be a long term endeavor to provide an encouraging and supportive presence.
